After all the time I've spent at the botanical garden ponds, and all the photos I've taken, this is the first time I've seen the seed pod as *part* of the flower. This was the first year I even knew what those periscope-looking things in the ponds were.
Beautiful! That middle looks like a shower head. So interesting!
