I really thought my neighbor's zealous pruning had killed the forsythia, as everywhere else in the neighborhood it has already bloomed and is going to green. Then a couple of days ago, yellow blossoms started appearing. Sparse, but there!
I saw it for the first time last year when we went to the cabin in north Georgia. It was beautiful.I brought some cuttings home and soon found out what all the landscape sites said was true...it doesn't grow in my zone.
