Not a happy greeting

It's not a good feeling to drive toward your house and see a fire truck out front with fire fighters stringing yellow tape across the road, blocking access.  As it turns out, the problem was in the yard across the street from me--the top of a tree came down during our latest storm, taking power lines with it.  I had to drive around the block, but could get into my driveway from the other side (the last accessible driveway before the tape).  Strangely enough, I never lost power.
