Approaching Wiseman's View

Wiseman's View is said to be one of the best overlooks in the area.  In addition, at night there are ghostly lights that appear on the mountain with no real explanation.  Some of my coworkers went up there one evening and stayed until very late, and report that they saw the lights.

I decided to drive up there today, but in my company car could only get partway up the dirt road.  I was afraid I'd hurt the car, so parked in one of the camping sites and hiked another hour to the overlook (and as it turned out, they scraped the road while I was up there, making it passable for even the Impala).

It seemed I'd never get there, but finally I reached the overlook, hoping it would be worth it!
