Since the Washington Monument is still being repaired after an earthquake and I can't go to the top, I went to the next highest point in DC, the tower of the old Post Office. The building is gorgeous, and right now houses shops and a food court, with a lovely black and white floor. There are what looks like hundreds of offices. The NPS guy manning the elevator to the tower says Donald Trump has bought the building and will be renovating it for another use, but the NPS will maintain control of the tower.
