We got a ride to our house today! We'd have had to pay for a hotel another night otherwise; the ice was still too bad for us to walk the two miles from the train station in the dark to our house. What looks like wet snow is solid ice. This has not been fun.
I like how the only color is the tiny spot of the orange sun.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you made it home. I know that kind of icy snow and it's no fun and dangerous. Ice is pretty, though, just not hospitable.
